The German car company Porsche has presented the new models of its classic 911 Targa from 1965, as we can see on the institutional website. These are the 911 Targa 4 and 4S models, which reach a top speed of over 300 km / h. The vehicles are equipped with 6-cylinder twin-cylinder boxer engines, with a displacement of 3 liters and 370 HP. This combination gives the 911 Targa 4 the opportunity to reach 289 km / h, going from 0 to 100 in 4.2 seconds. For its part, the 4S has even more power: 420 hp, which reduces the time needed to reach 100 km / h in 3.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 304 km / h. Both models also feature an 8-speed dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. In the case of the 4S, the model can also be requested with a 7-speed manual gearbox, which is included in the Sport Chrono version. For the first time, the vehicles are equipped with the Porsche InnoDrive system, which include automatic adaptive cruise control, while the Smartlift function can be used to customize the vehicle, allowing you to adjust the height from the ground. Another feature shared by the two versions is the dynamic control of the frame, which provides roll stabilization to minimize lateral inclination when cornering. The distinctive feature remains the fully automatic roof drive system and, just as on the original Targa model from 1965, the new one also features the typical wide protection arch, the removable roof section (to ensure protection for passengers in the event of overturning ) above the rear seats and the wraparound rear window. In this version the roof is able to complete the opening in just 19 seconds and is made of a highly soundproofing material that guarantees us good insulation from noise.
