The world of vintage wathches is really interesting and full of beautiful pieces of history, many times today we prefer to wear a vintage rather than a new watch both because it has a great history and because it some lines have remained current and in some cases are even better than the lines offered nowadays.
As soon as we start moving in this world we are faced with many difficulties, in fact buying online products of this type requires a lot of attention. Today we want to help you extricateyourself in this world.
We have Isaac with us, a vintage watch expert who will show us his three main tips for answering this questions. Isaac is the founder of an Instagram page on vintage watches, he also runs a shop where he sells watches.

Familiarise yourself with what the current market has to offer.
See what is available and always compare prices, as sellers’ prices may differ. Make sure you look across a few different platforms for watches that resemble the one you’re after, this enables you to gauge a relatively fair price.
Be Realistic!
When venturing into something new things are very exciting and you can easily get carried away by perhaps buying a watch that's a bit out of your price range. This may leave you with huge regret further down the line. It is crucial, prior to setting out to make sure you have a budget and make sure you stick to it!
Deal with reputable collectors & Sellers.
Ask around if possible, to see who has bought from whom. This way you can find out what sellers have a good reputation and which ones to perhaps avoid. Usually, a great seller will include a great description of all items they have up or sold, impeccable communication, and can stick to deadlines. Finding a favorable collector/seller is also crucial when it comes to mitigating counterfeits. Total transparency is the key vibe you should be aiming to receive from the individual or company your purchasing your watch from.
