WE WILL NOT TALK ABOUT NOVELS OR ROMANCE BUT WE WILL FOCUS ON PRATIC BOOKS SUCH AS BOOKS ON BUSINESS

Reading a book is an investment as it provides us with skills that can be spent throughout our life. Starting from this assumption, we immediately realize how the choice of the book must be made accurately to avoid wasting money and above all our precious time. Obviously there are books that are worth reading and others not; below you will find a selection of techniques that can be used for the responsible choice of the book. To find a good book you have to do a good search, because they are rare like diamonds. Let's start by saying that for every moment of life there is a suitable book; the book then becomes a medicine for life situations.
We begin our research by selecting books that relate to topics that affect us in this moment of life (if we are developing the marketing section of a company then we will need a book that addresses this theme). So you can start with macro-topics on which you would like to focus your reading and start by drawing up an extensive list with the titles that have most attracted your attention. Then find out who the real experts in the sector are covered in the book, so you can discard from your list all those books written by people who do not have the skills and knowledge to provide you with good lessons (if I have to read a book on how to found a startup I prefer to choose one written by a person who actually created a startup rather than the one written by an author who has no practical evidence to support his / her expertise in the field). At this point, inquire about the book reviews left by influential people (do not take into consideration the reviews of, for example, Amazon since you do not know who the person is leaving the review). After doing this, check if the physical characteristics of the book, for example the number of pages, correspond to your needs. Also discard from your list all those books are not current (I do not recommend reading books that give practical indications on a certain topic if that book was written several years ago, since the information would no longer be suitable for today's society).
By following these steps you will be able to shorten the initial list of books and obtain a restricted selection of books which, if read carefully, will prepare you perfectly on the topic you have chosen. Enjoy the reading!
