Charles Leclerc, Ferrari Formula One driver, has just signed a deal with Armani, and this event drew everyone’s attention. Even though the 2019 season was Charles’ second year in F1, the Monegasque driver has gained the media interest, especially after the Italian GP in Monza. Just enough Ferrari’s fans nicknamed him as “The Chosen One”, the only one that is able to bring the Champion back to Maranello, since the 2007 victory.

Taking advantage of this particular situation, Leclerc became the new ambassador of Giorgio Armani’s new collection “Made to measure”, for the 2020 spring/summer period.

Even the same Italian designer praised Leclerc’s performances as a driver and as a model, in which he fits perfectly.

“Made to man measure” service adapts magnificently to the requirements of the male customers, thanks to the nimbleness and naturalness that have always characterised all the products signed by the Italian stylist. Moreover the customer has now the possibility to take part in the creative process, by choosing the fabric, model and other details.

The presentation of this articles will be in September 2020 in Milan, but, due to the Covid-19 emergency, the fashion show is postponed in January 2021 in the historical place of Palazzo Orsini (Milan).

As if it wasn’t enough, Leclerc will be the protagonist of a short named “Le grand rendezvous” (which is a remake of a short filmed in 1976), directed by Claude Leloch. In this movie, we are going to see the driver racing along the streets of Principality of Monaco, with a SF 90 Ferrari. Thus, the realisation of this movie will, for sure, fill the gap left by the cancellation of the Monaco GP, caused by Covid.

The Chosen One is going to be the real protagonist of the upcoming F1 season, which should start in July in Austria, but, in spite of his great talent, He will have to face the other drivers, such as Vettel, his nemesis Verstappen and, overall, Lewis Hamilton.

The reigning World Champion is the man to beat, as he had won the last three season of F1; and he battled with Leclerc several times the past year, especially in Monza when their rivalry reached the peak.

A rivalry That goes beyond the Circus of F1, considering that Hamilton himself is fond of fashion. In fact he is the testimonial of Tommy Hilfiger, and together they launched their fourth collaboration, named “TommyXLewis”.

In short, Charles is living the most intense period of his career ; but many people are wondering if he will live up to the expectations, while others think that all these collaborations are distracting him from the very main goal: race in F1.
